5 Stone Buildings features prominently at the Chancery Bar Association Summer Conference
5 Stone Buildings are delighted to be playing a prominent part in this year’s Chancery Bar Association Summer Conference, which takes place in London on 26th June 2019.
The conference runs every year as a forum for Chancery barristers to discuss recent developments in the law and to focus on matters of professional interest.
This year’s programme includes a guest appearance from Dr Rangan Chatterjee who will be talking about the science of wellbeing, lectures from Lady Justice Asplin, Professor Joshua Getzler and a panel session on anonymity in Chancery Proceedings featuring three of the counsel in the recent Court of Appeal case MN v OP [2019] EWCA Civ 679.
David Rees QC will be leading a workshop on the representation in trust proceedings of those who have lost capacity, minors, and unborn and unascertained beneficiaries. The conference chair is Oliver Marre.
