On Wednesday 19 August, judgment will be handed down by the Supreme Court in the case of Commissioners for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (Respondent) v Parry and others (Appellants) (also known as the Staveley case).
5 Stone Buildings will be hosting a lunchtime webinar on the case on Thursday 20 August. David Rees QC and Hugh Cumber (who acted for the Appellant taxpayers) will be exploring the Supreme Court’s judgment and offering their comment on the wider implications of the case.
This webinar will take place on Thursday 20th August 2020 at 12noon.
