Feilding v Dickinson Webinar

On Friday 23rd June 2023, the Court of Appeal handed down a judgment refusing the Claimants permission to appeal in Feilding v Dickinson – the Wemyss Chardin case.

On Thursday 13th July 2023 Henry Legge KC and Eliza Eagling, who acted for the successful Defendant in the case, will led a webinar considering some of the issues in the case, which include:  the duties of a consignment dealer to its client, the use of damages based on loss of a chance in art cases and the judge’s application of the “fair wind” causation principle.
