Members act on behalf of both domestic and commercial landlords and tenants and they undertake litigation and advisory work and drafting in connection with all areas of landlord and tenant. Typical work in this area involves:

  • business tenancies (including lease renewal and termination)
  • agricultural tenancies
  • residential tenancies (including Rent Act, statutory and assured tenancies)
  • housing association matters
  • leasehold enfranchisement
  • disrepair and tenants' rights
  • possession issues (including mortgage repossessions and trespasser claims)
